Description
A charming pair of 19th/early 20th-century watercolours by Royal Society of British Artists member Stuart Lloyd, each depicting tranquil riverside scenes with figures beside or upon the water, and a church spire rising in the distance. Executed with a delicate hand and a keen eye for atmosphere and architectural detail, both works are signed lower right and titled on the lower gilt slips.
