Description

Constructed in mahogany with superb flame figured veneers to the front elevation this Victorian 2 over 2 chest of drawers has a superb deep rich colour. The drawers are all pine lined with mahogany fronts bearing mahogany bun handles and brass lock escutcheons. The front elevation also has ¼ round edges. The chest of drawers has a plank back and is raised on mahogany bun feet with a deep plinth.
Presented in superb condition with minimal age related wear. The drawers all seat and run correctly. There is a small crack to the mahogany on the right side of the top (see photo 6) and right hand side these are cosmetic and not structural and do not detract from the beauty of the chest
