Early 18th century oak chest of two long drawers and fielded side panels with iron lifting handles on a period oak joined stand with shaped apron. The plank top has signs of minor historic restoration and alteration consistent with age and use.

The mahogany lined drawers have triple narrow mouldings worked on the front edges, later replacement George II brass handles and escutcheons and have Georgian working and serviced locks with keys.

The chest is in fine overall original condition and bears a good original colour and patina.
