Description
A stunning George IV Mahogany Serpentine Front Chest of Drawers with a one-piece top and three long drawers,
The serpentine top has a beautifully cross-banded border with boxwood stringing. Below this, the drawer fronts display 'plum-pudding' markings and feature cross-banded borders edged in fine strings of ebony & boxwood and also have additional cock-beading to the edges. Furthermore, the drawers are fitted with brass-lined keyholes and oval ring handles on brass plate plates embossed with classical urns. Finished on outswept bracket feet.
