Description
Large Camphor Wood Chest.
With metal handles and shaped wooden feet.
Camphor wood has a strong, pungent, and fresh scent that is often described as minty or medicinal. This distinctive aroma comes from the camphor oil in the wood and leaves, which naturally repels moths and other insects, which is why camphor wood has historically been used for storing clothes. The smell can be intensified by sanding the wood and will lessen over time unless the wood is sealed with a finish.
