Description

This specialised 1930s specimen cabinet was formerly used in a museum and is designed for the organised storage of small items or documents. The mahogany finished cabinet features two large panelled doors with Gothic style arched molding, which open to reveal a series of nine internal drawers of varying depths. Each drawer is fitted with two small black turned knobs, and the variation in drawer height suggests a specific scientific or archival purpose. The piece is built with a solid plinth base standing on discreet bracket feet.
