Description

Original Early 19th Century - Georgian period mahogany corner washstand with shaped gallery back and cut-outs for the wash bowl, jug etc. This is really a beautiful piece of furniture, you could add a jug and bowl set or cover the top over with glass or wood to use as a table top. Bow front with imitation tambour cupboard door, three faux drawers to the top, two faux drawers to the base and one single drawer to the centre. Splayed front legs have been historically re-inforced to give strength. This is in good, solid condition. This fine wash stand does show signs of wear, this is over 200 years old, so do not expect a 'new' antique, though it is in very good, clean condition with some age wear. Completely original and unrestored, a good, useable solid piece. Beautiful!
