Description

Beautifully crafted 19th century carved antique oak writing desk. Featuring two small drawers either side of a central drawer all heavily carved with turned handles. The right hand drawer with a fitted interior and sliding secret compartment.

Presented on carved turned legs presented on bun feet. To the top of the desk a carved stationery and storage set of drawers with ornate gallery back with shield held by to griffins design, to compliment its finish.

Working lockable drawers (key will be at reception of building).

Knee Hole Height 61cm

There are some surface scratches to the top consistent with use. A small chip to the corner of the desk as photographed and half of the knob to the top left lower drawer. Otherwise an excellent statement piece.
