Description

19th Century regency rosewood sofa table with two functional drawers to the front and two dummy drawers to the reverse of the table. Presented on a turned central column on a platform base with reeded feet. Two leaves either side lift to extend the table.

Ideal elegant table for a small dining room or suitable occasional table as it was once intended. A sofa table was traditionally only placed behind a large seating piece, such as a sofa, in a formal room.
