Description
This solid English oak book trough is a fine example of the Yorkshire Critters tradition, handcrafted by Alan "Acorn Man" Grainger. Trained under the legendary Robert "Mouseman" Thompson. The piece features the signature hand adzed finish on the external surfaces, creating a beautiful rippled texture characteristic of the movement. A hallmark of his work, a detailed recessed acorn, is intricately carved into the side of the trough.
