Description
A rare 19th century timepiece, one of only 18 14”/12” double dials made by John Walker( source Railway Clocks by Ian P Lyman) used on the original junction of the “Sprat & Winkle” line.
Overhauled with new mainspring, the substantial movement comes with pendulum , key, copy of the southern railway clock records and receipt for work on the dials.
Mounted on bespoke Oak stand with brass adjustable feet( original was mounted in between platform and ticket office wall) would look great in a barn conversion ,bracket mounted on a beam
