Description
A nice antique Georgian period needlework sampler. It depicts finely embroidered details including an apple tree with adam and eve, a dear, birds, insects and a windmill with a border of interlocking flowers. It is signed by a Martha Good aged 14 and dated 1827. It is glazed and framed in a simple oak frame. Image size 32.5cm wide by 31.2cm high. Frame size 39cm wide by 37.5cm high. Dealer Code: 3070.
