Description

This is a very good quality large vintage Persian wool rug or carpet. It is from Western Iran and the design is called Moud, which is a place just south of Birdjan. Of the two types of Moud design, this is the garden motif. It shows squares of garden, vase and animal designs. A border of further vases, flowers and stylised animals. A very colourful rug in red, blue, green, yellow and ivory with a small fringe at either end. Dealer Code: 2702.
