Description
Antique decorative unusual scale herati design (garden trellis) with a soft decorative palate which would originally have been bold and vibrant but the early chemical dyes have softened to a pale rose, coral and orange tones. in need of restoration to on the edges this rug can be used as is or restored to reduce the damaged borders as required. There is an area in the main field which could also be rewoven and knotted if required. Great example of an early chemical dyed rug.
