Description

Unusual in length and at first glance could be forgiven for thinking it was a tartan rug. Instead it is a strip weave woven in 2 halves that would have been one of the bedding layers within the yurt. Adorned with tassles along each long side showing off the colours used throughout. Imagine this as it contained all the tribal belongings from the yurt andhung over the camel with the tassels not only working as decoration but also a priactical fly deterant. A twill weave with alternaqting wefts along this warp faced blanket with occasional evil eye motifs sewn in for good luck. Just beautiful and would make a great sofa cover or picnic blanket. Highly durable.
