Description

One of a pair. I bought this when they were still attached by the warps running between them, where it clearly showed how they spaced out the warps to start to weave each rug. To tidy them up for resale I have split them but to find a pair in any style and generation is a rarity. The design is typical to the region with the stylised geometric motif flanked with smaller geometric designs. The older the Karadja the more design and colour. This pair I list as 1920-30 due to the scale of the additional motifs and the red based early chemical field.
