Description

A simple affordable, restored antique Persian Senneh. This has been reduced prior to my purchasing it. The outer guard borders have been removed and a hole has been rewoven. The base terracotta and aqua blue colouring has a huge movement indicating it to be hand spun wool. The strong abrash in the main field and lesser in the borders throughout the rug indicate the simplicity in the thought process when making this. They ran out of the colour and just used a different red from a different dye batch. A great example of a handknotted rug.
