A beautiful Danish Sterling Silver Brooch by Arno Malinowski for Georg Jensen, designed c1940, featuring a Merman riding a fish in an underwater scene.
The Maker's Mark on this Brooch dates from 1945>, however as the designer worked for Jensen between 1936-1944 the design of the brooch can be narrowed to the end of this 8 year period in Jensen's history and was likely produced c1945.
Jensen’s pieces are highly sought after, with their designs proving to be a shrewd investment for many collectors as well as an outstanding addition to enhance any look.
