George V 1929 cut glass scent bottle with its original stopper concealed beneath a Birmingham hallmarked silver top by maker Henry Clifford Davis. The stepped circular silver screw top works well having a hand painted scene depicting highland cattle in a Scottish landscape. The glass bottle is in perfect condition free from any chips or cracks, although it does have a white residue to the neck and wear due to the turning of the stopper only seen when the lid is removed; this does not detract from the beauty of the piece which over all is in excellent condition. The silver top and enamel scene are in excellent condition free from and scratches or dint's a beautiful collector’s piece.
