Description

This rare cased specimen set contains four Victorian silver Double Florins, covering the complete date run of 1887, 1888, 1889, and 1890. Known as the "Barmaid’s Ruin" due to its similar size to the crown, this short lived four shilling denomination was only minted during the Jubilee Head era. Each coin is struck in .925 sterling silver and features the iconic "Jubilee" portrait of Queen Victoria. These specimens are presented in a fitted luxury case, preserving their sharp detail and natural lustre.
