Description

A beautiful antique art nouveau period carved and stained horn necklace, almost certainly by Elizabeth Bonte a French artisan jewellery designer who was influenced by nature and inspired by the work of Rene Lalique a contemporary of her. It features an autumnal scene of a leaf with small berries, centred by a cabochon bead and a suspended mottled glass drop. An attached green double thread cord. The pendant is 11cm long, with a total of 42cm in length. The back is unsigned, but it is typical of Elizabeth Bonte's work. Dealer Code: 3586.
