Description
This distinctive ring, originating from London around 1990, is crafted in luxurious 18 carat yellow gold, offering a warm and traditional setting for the gemstones. The design of the ring is highly sculptural and dynamic. The shank (band) of the ring features an elegant split design where the gold bends and twists towards the centre. The focus of the piece is a vibrant, round cut green garnet nestled between these sweeping gold shoulders. Adding sparkle to the movement of the gold, each of the twisting shoulders is expertly set with five small round cut diamonds. This means the ring features a total of ten accent diamonds, which beautifully follow the curve of the design and draw the eye towards the central, richly coloured garnet.
