Description

Rare example of a late 18th to early 19th century George III bovine cow horn folding pocket eye glass. The tinted glass folding lens is Plano (non magnifying) and was typically used to help assist with short or long sightedness by enhancing contrast and reducing glare when reading documents.

  • Condition: Fully working folding mechanism. No cracks or chips to the tinted glass. The horn is in good condition with only minor marks and a couple minor cracks around the mounting pins
