Description

This Victorian multi functional box is veneered in figured walnut with a warm, polished finish. The exterior features brass carry handles and a central inlaid nameplate. The hinged lid opens to reveal a vibrant red, diamond tufted silk lining with a central oval mirror. The interior is cleverly divided into multiple wooden compartments for sewing or craft supplies. A front falling panel reveals a black leather lined writing surface with gold tooled borders, which serves as a stationary slope. The box also includes a side drawer, though it is currently non functional.
