Classic Mahogany Antique Stationery Box

This is a refined antique stationery box crafted from rich, deep toned mahogany. During the 19th and early 20th centuries, boxes like these were the centerpiece of a sophisticated desk, serving as a dedicated hub for one's correspondence. The mahogany grain offers a warm, natural lustre that has only deepened with age, making it a handsome addition to any library, study, or home office. The interior of the box is particularly well appointed, retaining its two original glass bottles which would have served as inkwells for different coloured inks.
