Outstanding Caroline Harris Velvet Designer Cloak

A velvet cloak by the well-known tv & film costume designer, Caroline Harris. This is one of her early designs from the 1980s. The plush cotton velvet is of a very high quality. It is midnight blue with a gorgeous plum-coloured velvet lining to the hood & is lined in a black synthetic lining material. It fastens with an inside black frog fastener to keep the whole thing hanging properly & another one which you can see in the photograph. There are two generous slit openings for the hands. It hangs & drapes beautifully when worn. The measurements I have given are from shoulder to shoulder (difficult to be accurate here) & from base of neck to the hem but I would say that it probably fits & falls to most sizes. Wonderful for outside carol services or in cold cathedrals etc.
