19th Century Puzzle Jug. With a pierced neck, drinking spouts, handle and images of countryside scenes in relief to the body. Puzzle jugs were used as a fun element with the drinker having to try and drink out of it without spilling any liquid, combining craftsmanship with playful ingenuity. Circa 1840
