A Chippendale Period mahogany gentleman's kneehole desk. The rectangular Cuban mahogany top with finely carved gadrooning above a brushing slide and seven rectangular oak lined drawers retaining their original brass swan neck handles. The central knee hole section having a recessed panelled door which unusually slides forward when not in use as a desk. Raised on the original shaped bracket feet. English circa 1760-1770.
