A Fabulous and Rare Antique Hand Thrown Ceramic Pot That Contains a Hoard of Coins. The Pot Could be 16th to 18th Century, and it Contains Approximately 2,500 Coins. The Round Coins with a Square Hole Have Been Identified as Vietnamese Copper Cash Coins Called Annam Canh Thinh Thong Bao. They were Minted by Emperor Canh Thinh, the Last Emperor of the Tay Son Dynasty AD 1792-1802. The Hoard Could be From China or Vietnam. Most of the Coins Have Been Stuck Into the Pot, But Some on the Top are Loose. An X-Ray of the Pot is Inluded on a CD-Rom, See the Images, the Coins Are Very Tightly Packed In. A Rare Find and a Great Conversation Piece, Pleased be Advised it is Very Heavy.
