This is a a rare surviving original sales catalogue for utility furniture printed by the Board of Trade on the 1st January 1943. The front cover with stamp for Furlongs Ltd, a furniture store in Woolwich, South London. Fully illustrated 1st edition with basic furniture for the home including prices, such as a wardrobe for £15.16s.6d. It states you still required permission to purchase each piece apart from nursery furniture. You had to prove you were setting up a home, or had lost furniture through bombing.
