A beautiful antique art nouveau period carved and stained horn necklace. Almost certainly made by Elizabeth Bonte a French artisan jewellery designer who was influenced by nature and inspired by the work of Rene Lalique a contemporary of hers. It features a large dragonfly in flight supported by a hoop and a glass cabochon bead. A further mottled glass bead drop below. It is carved from a single piece of horn. An attached double strand brown silk cord interspersed with mottled glass beads. The pendant is 7.5cm wide by 11.5cm high. Stock Code: 3584.
