This antique oak stick or umbrella stand from circa 1920 is designed in the shape of a cooperative barrel, by Lister and Co. The cylindrical piece is constructed from vertical oak slats bound tightly together by three polished copper bands. The top features an open rim showing the hollow interior designed to hold walking sticks or umbrellas.
