An antique late Victorian Royal Worcester twin handled oval tureen and cover. The cream coloured ground decorated with sprays of flowers and foliage. Extensive gilt highlights and borders in brown with repeated gilt geometric decoration. Fully marked for Royal Worcester, the lid with date code for 1896, and the base with a date code for 1883. The base also with a printed retailers mark of F & C Ostler of Oxford Street, London. Stock Code: 2888.
