Contact us about Antique William IV Rosewood Teapoy

This is an elegant Antique William IV Rosewood Teapoy, dating specifically to the period of 1830–1837. The term 'teapoy' itself is derived from the meaning 'three feet,' signifying its structure as a tripod standing on a central column. The teapoy's design is refined, featuring a beautifully turned central column that supports the upper casket. The base of the casket is embellished with gadrooned carvings, adding decorative detail. The top of the teapoy rises up to reveal the interior fittings designed for the tea ceremony. These fittings include two original tea caddies and one glass mixing bowl, and space for another.
