20th Century Small White Staffordshire Spaniels by Moorland Chelsea Works Burslum England It was very fashionable for pairs of spaniels, also called wally dogs to be placed on the mantle piece of C19th& C20th homes. Spaniels were a favourite due to their connection with English Royal family, especially Queen Victoria. Each pair is hand painted and unique, with a range of facial expressions from happy to ferocious. They have become very collectable over the years. Good condition.
