Charles 2nd, King of England 1660-85, was restored to the English throne following the Puritan commonwealth of Oliver Cromwell. His father, Charles 1st, had been tried and executed in 1649. Charles 2nd's reign is known as the Restoration Period. Original condition. Evidence of historic black paint. Some erosion to base. Used condition. Very Heavy.
