Contact us about Chinese Gouache Winter Landscape

This antique Chinese gouache painting depicts four figures and a small dog within a serene winter landscape. The scene features traditional architecture, including a lakeside pavilion and a walled gate, set against snow dusted mountains and bare trees. The figures are dressed in traditional robes, rendered with fine detail typical of export watercolours. The work is housed in an ornate, pierced giltwood frame with scrolling foliate motifs. Lots Of Losses To The Frame.
