A beautiful 18th century George III mahogany desk having six short drawers either side and single central drawer above all with decorative brass handles and fixings. Featuring a small kneehole cupboard below. presented on bracket feet with original brass carry handles. A small secret sliding drawer space anbove the cupboard which blends into the carved detail of the desk design, ideal for keeping paper, stationery and pens. Lovely polished finished to the top. Circa 1770. Some age related wear consistent with use. Working lock and key.
