Crown Ducal Charger by Charlotte Rhead,Circa 1938. An original Crown Ducal 'Fruit Border' Wall Charger (Pattern No. 5802), designed by the celebrated British ceramicist Charlotte Rhead. Produced by A.G. Richardson & Co. in Staffordshire, England. Features stylised, orange apples or autumnal fruits and multi-toned leaves arranged in a dense, flowing repeating border around a minimalist cream centre,with bands finished in gold. Signed.
