A beautiful Royal Doulton Lambeth’s Kingsware mantel clock, dating to circa 1905. An unusual design featuring a man in classical drapery, holding a glass of wine, with richly modelled detail and expressive posture. Crafted in Doulton's signature Kingsware glaze, the clock body boasts a deep, glossy treacle-brown finish. The high-fired glaze gives the surface a lustrous sheen, while the dial is framed in a circular brass bezel, with Roman numerals and classic spade hands. The clock does currently run, although functionality is not guaranteed and it may require servicing for regular timekeeping.
