Contact us about George IV Silver Vinaigrette

This George IV sterling silver vinaigrette was crafted in Birmingham in 1820 by the silversmith John Wilmore Simpson. The exterior features a delicate engine turned truffle design with a central rectangular cartouche engraved with the initials J.G. The interior reveals a rich gold gilt finish and a beautifully hand pierced floral grille, designed to hold an aromatic sponge. Hallmarks are visible on the inner lid, confirming its origin and date.
