The Harappan civilisation consisted of several large well planned urban centre's, the most famous of which are Harappa and Mojenjo-Daro. These cities were characterised by sophisticated urban planning with grid like street layouts, advanced drainage systems and multi storey brick houses.
The Harappans were skilled artisans and craftsmen producing a wide range of pottery, jewellery, figurines and sculptures.
