Contact us about Japanese Bronze Figural Okimono
Japanese Bronze Figural Okimono. The Bronze Okimono modelled as a farmer leaning on a cut stump with a traditional Japanese shovel stood next to his son who is holding a small bucket. Both figures are looking up smiling humorously and are wearing traditional Japanese clothing with various inlay, shakudo metalwork and gold plated accents. The Japanese Bronze Figural Okimono dates to the Meiji period (1868-1912) around the turn of the 20th century circa 1900.
