Krautheim and Adelberg Silver Overlay Porcelain Vase. Decorated in the Schwåbisch Gmünd silver studios of Friedrich Spahr. The 30cm tall vase weighs 2415g and is adorned in polychrome enamels within a superbly organically flowing design in fine thick silver overlay depicting fabulous bird of paradise. The silver is further enhanced with detailed engraving and is signed Spahr 1000 to the lower aspect of the upper rim. Circa 1940.
