A beautifully crafted late Victorian 19th Century walnut stationery box with hinged sloping lid. Revealing partitioned pigeon holes, two inkwells with a central pen or pencil rest and envelope holders either side. Lower drawer with lockable pin and brass heavy duty handle. Complete with brass plaque to the front. “Presented to Edwina Green by the members of the Kislingbury Chair 28th August 1885”.
