'Lincoln Cathedral' Henry Earp Senior (1831-1914) ​ Signed, inscribed `Lincoln' on the stretcher, oil on canvas 19.5 x 29.5cm. ​ A beautiful example of Henry Earp Seniors work - with cattle in the forefront, and Lincoln Cathedral perched on the hill in the background. Henry Earp, born in 1831, was an artist from Brighton who mainly worked with watercolors and oils. He showcased his work extensively at prestigious venues such as the Royal Institute for Painters in Watercolour, the Royal Society of British Artists, the Walker Gallery in Liverpool, and the Manchester City Art Gallery.
