This is an antique map titled 'Austriae Descrip. per Wolfgangum Lazium' Original antique map of Austria. Published in Antwerp c. 1600. The printed imaged is strong, as are the colours. A previous owner's note to the rear states that the map dates from c1592. It formed part of Ortelius' famous "Theatrum Orbis Terrarum" world atlas.
