Circa 1870, this Meiji period piece is profusely carved and reticulated with Katcho ga friezes and galleries featuring, birds, flowers and figures. All in Ivory, mother of Pearl and abalone carved relief. On a brown background with gilded highlights. The asymmetrical design features cupboards, sliding doors, drawers and open shelves for your most treasured possessions to be shown in breathtaking surroundings.
