This is an original 17th century map of Lincolnshire engraved by William Kip. It dates to the early 17th century, about 1610, and is an engraving of a map by Christopher Saxton (c.1540-c.1610). He was an English cartographer. The map is beautifully hand coloured and titled ‘LINCOLNIAE Comitatus ubi Olim insederunt CORITANI’. The map has been recently gilt framed and glazed. Print size is 35cm wide by 30cm high. Frame size is 47cm wide by 43cm high. Stock Code: 2764.
