An original pen, ink and watercolour illustration of a humerous scene from the Paris-Dakar Rally. The race ran annually from 1979 to 2007 from Paris in France to Dakar in Senegal. It is now run in the Middle East. This image depicts two men by their car, one is trying to start it with a crank handle. It is signed by the artist Andy Danks (1950-). He is well known for his depictions of racing cars. It has been reframed more recently in a simulated light wood frame. Image size is 34.5cm high by 27.5cm wide.
